Join us for the Celebration Service at 8:30am. A Praise Band leads us in exciting and meaningful worship and we share a time of hearing God's word together. The feel is Spirited casual with people of all ages. At 11am, we share a Traditional Methodist worship service with a Chancel Choir and organ music. Honoring the liturgy of the church we gather weekly for singing, prayer, and responding to God's word. Nursery ministry is available during both worship services.
We gather at 1800 3rd Ave South, Jasper, Alabama. Church parking is available directly across the entrance on 18th Avenue. Parking is also available in the area accessible off of 4th Avenue.
We love welcoming families. Nursery care is available during both Sunday worship services. Children's Sunday School, Children's Church, and Wednesday kids' and youth ministries make room for the whole family to grow in faith together.
We do not have a dress code at First Methodist Church. Our goal is to focus our attention on Jesus Christ and invite the presence of the Holy Spirit into our lives.
After the Celebration Service and before Sunday School, we gather in the fellowship hall to enjoy coffee, donuts, fellowship, and laughter.
